Why it costs what it costs

Weight is the part of a sweatshirt you cannot see in a photograph and cannot fake in a description. A 270 g/m² knit takes more cloth per garment than a lighter one, and that is most of the difference between a piece that keeps its shape and one that goes slack by February.

Sublimation puts the colour into the fibre instead of onto the surface, and a dense knit gives it more fibre to sit in. That is why the ground here holds its colour edge to edge rather than letting the weave show through it, and why the pattern will still be there when the shape of the sweatshirt is the oldest thing about it.
