Why it costs what it costs

Carrying the pattern onto the ribbed cuffs and waistband means more printed surface and more panels to register against one another before anything is sewn. That is the cost, and it is the reason the piece reads continuous instead of ending at the wrist.

Ribbing is the awkward part. It stretches, it is the first thing to go slack, and most printed hoodies leave it plain for exactly that reason. This one carries the cross pattern there too, so when you are standing with your arms down there is no blank band at the wrist telling everyone where the printing stopped.
