Why it costs what it costs

A printed hoodie takes a finished blank and puts a graphic on the chest. This one is printed as flat panels and then cut and sewn, so the pattern carries over the shoulder and around the hood instead of stopping at a rectangle. Made after you order it, so nothing here is priced to cover unsold stock.

Look close and the words are in the cloth: gold shields with oxblood crosses, upright crosses and a gold lattice on charcoal, with the reference itself — JOSHUA 1:9 — set into the repeat. The smooth face carries the print; the brushed fleece behind it is the part only you feel.

A full zip cuts the front panel in half, which is the hardest thing you can ask of an all-over pattern — worn open, each side has to hold on its own. That is the reason for printing flat panels and cutting after, rather than stamping a finished blank: the repeat is laid into the cloth before the garment exists, so the zip runs through the pattern instead of bordering it.
