Why it costs what it costs

The pattern is printed across the panels before the shoe is assembled — not screened onto a finished blank — so the repeat runs unbroken instead of stopping at a printed patch. Each pair is made after you order it, which is why it takes about three weeks, and why there is no warehouse of unsold stock priced into it.

Cut to cover the ankle, and printed to match. The repeat climbs past the quarter panel and over the padded collar rather than stopping where the panel stops — so the mark is still there on the part of the shoe that moves most.

Gold shields, each marked with an oxblood cross, four-point stars in diamond frames, and JOSHUA 1:9 in gold small caps. On navy the gold reads warm rather than bright. This is the colourway for carrying the mark without leading with it.
