Why it costs what it costs

A printed jacket takes a finished blank and puts a graphic on the back. This one is printed as flat panels and then cut and sewn, which is why the pattern carries over the shoulder and into the sleeve instead of stopping at a rectangle. It is made after you order it, so nothing here is priced to cover unsold stock.

Ivory does not hide. A jacket is already the layer everyone else sees, and this is the lightest thing you own — worn over the dark ones, zipped or open, ribbed collar and cuffs holding the shape.

Light was never meant to be the layer underneath.
