Why it costs what it costs

The pattern is printed across the panels before the shoe is assembled — not screened onto a finished blank — so the repeat runs unbroken instead of stopping at a printed patch. Each pair is made after you order it, which is why it takes about three weeks, and why there is no warehouse of unsold stock priced into it.

Low and wide gives the pattern more room than it gets anywhere else. The court has the largest uninterrupted panels in the footwear line, so the repeat runs further here before it meets a seam than on any other pair in the house.

Gold shields, each marked with an oxblood cross, four-point stars in diamond frames, and JOSHUA 1:9 in gold small caps. Ivory is the ground that shows all of it — this is the clearest look at the lattice the house makes.
