Why it costs what it costs

The pattern is printed across the panels before the shoe is assembled — not screened onto a finished blank — so the repeat runs unbroken instead of stopping at a printed patch. Each pair is made after you order it, which is why it takes about three weeks, and why there is no warehouse of unsold stock priced into it.

This is the pair with a traction outsole. Durable rubber under a basketball silhouette — low, wide, and built to move rather than to be looked at. The leather upper is mesh-lined and the EVA insole is soft enough for a day spent standing.

Gold shields, each marked with an oxblood cross, four-point stars in diamond frames, and JOSHUA 1:9 in gold small caps. On charcoal the mark keeps its edge even where the panel curves hardest at the toe.
