Why it costs what it costs

Printed across the panels before the boot is lasted and assembled, so the repeat carries over the quarter and the toe rather than stopping at a printed patch. A waterproof build under a leather surface is what lets a printed boot survive the weather it is built for — and it is most of the cost. Every pair is made after you order it, so nothing here is priced to cover unsold stock.

Fit here is two decisions instead of one. You choose the men’s or the women’s build first and the size second, because these are two separate runs rather than one run with a conversion chart under it. That distinction matters more on a laced boot than on anything else you can buy — a boot that is a half-size generous is a boot you stop wearing by November.
