Why it costs what it costs

The pattern is printed across the panels before the boot is assembled — not screened onto a finished blank — so the repeat runs unbroken instead of stopping at a printed patch. Each pair is made after you order it, which is why it takes about three weeks, and why there is no warehouse of unsold stock priced into it.

This is the one that reads almost solid. On a deep navy ground the gold sits closer in value than it does on charcoal, so from any distance the boot looks like a dark boot and nothing more. Get close and the lattice resolves. If you want the mark without the conversation, this is the colourway.

Gold shields, each marked with an oxblood cross, four-point stars in diamond frames, and JOSHUA 1:9 in gold small caps inside the cartouche — the same mark carried on the bags and across the rest of the line.
