Why it costs what it costs

Taped neck and shoulders, double-needle hems at the sleeve and the bottom — these are the four places a polo gives out first, and each of them is a separate operation somebody has to perform. Made after you order it, so nothing here is priced to cover unsold stock.

Do not iron is worth reading twice. It is not about wrinkles — on printed polyester an iron is the one household object that can undo the work, and this is the only care instruction in the capsule that carries a real consequence. It also means you will not need one: a knit this weight comes out of the dryer flat and stays that way on a hanger. Read the label, skip the board, and the shirt outlives the habit that would have ruined it.
