Why it costs what it costs
A printed polo takes a finished blank and puts a logo on the chest. This one is printed as flat panels and then cut and sewn, so the pattern carries over the shoulder and around the placket instead of stopping at a rectangle. Made after you order it, so nothing here is priced to cover unsold stock.
This is the Signature build: ribbed collar, short placket, straight hem. The Royal Navy polo is a different make — taped neck and shoulders, quarter-turned so there is no centre crease. Neither is the better shirt; they are two collars for two kinds of day.
Gold shields, each marked with an oxblood cross, sit in a gold lattice on charcoal, with JOSHUA 1:9 in gold small caps set into the repeat. There is no logo on the chest. The hem is straight rather than curved, which is a decision about where the pattern ends: a curved tail is cut to be tucked, and a tucked shirt loses the bottom of the repeat inside a waistband. This one is finished to be left out, with the panel whole.
