Why it costs what it costs

A wide leg is where a printed pattern usually falls apart — the repeat breaks at the inseam and the drape gives it away. Printed as flat panels and then cut and sewn, so the monogram carries down the leg and across the seam. Made after you order it, so nothing here is priced to cover unsold stock.

A wide leg spreads the repeat out and cream takes the contrast down, so here the monogram behaves more like texture in the cloth than a mark on it. What cream will not do is hide you — a light trouser is a visible one either way.
